Production of our sewn in house items often leaves us with remnant pieces of fabric. We are always striving to create minimal waste from our studio practice, and quilting is the perfect way to utilize every last inch of gorgeous hand dyed material. We love the contrast of swirling color next to remnant scraps of natural canvas. For our first edition in our new wall hanging series, we quilted in an unplanned impromptu collage style. The resulting piece is a modern exploration of color, texture, and geometry.
